Can you tell me more about the speaker?

The Almost Amazing Marko is a magician, comedian and Good News preacher, all rolled into one! Who knows what Marko will bring to the show? Whatever he brings out of his bag of tricks, you’ll giggle, clap and cheer!

The Almost-Amazing Marko is actually Rev. Mark Winter, a General Evangelist of the United Methodist Church who founded his One Man Show Ministries in 1999 as a “creative force for God.” Through drama, magic and other imaginative means, Mark strives to communicate the old, old story of God’s love in a fresh, relevant way. He lives in Ft Worth, TX with his wife, Laura. They have three adult children.

“Mark’s ability to impact children for Jesus is incredible.” ~Pastor Ballinger TX

“’The Almost Amazing Marko’ visited our school and was a hit with our K – 4 students. Marko told stories of honesty and what it means to do the right thing. He sprinkled in magic, humor and dramatics, and encouraged students to get on the right track.”~Educator, Pratt, KS

“Pastor Mark, we certainly enjoyed your ministry to the children and us! We were very impressed with your ability to capture the attention of all the children for 45 minutes! That is not an easy task, but you made it look easy. Our children loved it!”~Parents, Dublin, TX

I’m the Children’s Directors. Can I attend?
Children’s Directors are more than welcome! Please register online. You will be required to complete Ministry Safe Training and a Background Check (or provide us with a verification form from your church) before the weekend.  If you have other volunteers within your church that would also like to attend, we ask that they also complete the registration and appropriate training.

Does my child need to attend with a church?
No. Children who attend individually will be cared for by Glen Lake Summer Staff.

Children who attend with their children’s director will be under their supervision for the weekend.

My child takes medication. How is that handled?
