CABINS AND LODGES

Deluxe Cabins

  • 9 bunk beds in each deluxe cabin sleeping 18
  • Public restroom includes: 3 sinks, 3 toilets, and 3 showers in individual stalls
  • No bed linens or towels provided
  • Central heat/air in deluxe cabins
  • No food or drinks in cabins
  • Cabins 2, 4, 10, 11, 12, 21, 22, 25 are deluxe cabins
  • All mattresses have vinyl covers

Standard Cabins

  • Each standard cabin has a different number of bunk beds
  • Public restroom in each with 2 sinks, 2 toilets, and at least 2 showers
  • No bed linens or towels provided
  • Gas heat and window unit A/C in standard cabins
  • No food or drinks in cabins
  • Cabins 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28
  • Each Cabin Sleeps: 3-20, 5-16, 6-16, 7-16, 8-16, 9-16, 23-14, 24-16, 26-16, 27- 16, 28-16
  • All mattresses have vinyl covers

Lodges

ACTIVITIES

Challenge Course

Challenge Course Goals:

  • For participants to gain problem solving skills and understand conflict management
  • Allow participants to challenge their personal commitment and willingness to risk within the group
  • Expand the groups understanding and experience of what it means to work together as a group
  • Allow for leadership development and awareness of potential in ones self and others
  • For participants to develop relationships within the group appropriate to the groups purpose
  • Expand the groups decision making process and communication skills
  • To give opportunities to groups of all ages to practice the skills above by confronting real challenges
  • Allow the group to reflect upon their experience and how it applies to the group or them as an individual

 

Water Park

Hiking

  • Cross the Paluxy River to hike the hillside to the cross on the cliff overlooking the camp
  • Close-toed shoes suggested
  • Adult supervision required
  • Glen Lake Staff can direct you to the trail

 

Canoeing/Kayaking

  • Lifeguard must be on duty
  • Lifejackets, canoes, and kayaks provided

Fishing

  • May be reserved for shopping on Saturdays from 12:30pm till 1:30pm.
  • Other weekend or weekday times can be requested and the staff will do their best to accommodate.  If you would like it open at other times, please let us know prior to your arrival.

Miller Activity Center

  • Front hangout room with 6 tables and 4 chairs for each
  • Full Basketball Court
  • This building is open to all onsite groups for free
  • The MAC closes at 10pm for quiet hours
  • The recreation facility also has 2 outdoor volleyball courts available to all groups
